Shoot with Cue

Built for your camera, not your phone.

What Cue offers

Cue lives natively on your camera's SD card.

There are three ways to use it.

Generic ID Cards

FREE

A free, downloadable card prepared for your camera brand. Two purposes: test that Cue works on your specific camera before purchasing, and act as a "found my gear" return card with a built-in guide that helps strangers find your EXIF copyright info to get your camera back to you.

We strongly recommend downloading and testing the free card for your brand before purchasing a Custom ID Card or Pose Pack.

Custom ID Cards

$19

A personalized return card with your contact information — email, phone, Instagram, whatever you want included. Hand-authored one at a time with your specific details. Limited availability at launch to ensure quality.

Pose Packs

FROM $5

112 hand-authored poses across 12 themed packs — weddings, engagements, portraits, boudoir, and more. Designed to scroll through on your camera's LCD between shots, so you spend less time on your phone and more time present with your clients. Available in four tiers from $5 to $79; Cue Complete owners receive every new pose and category, free, forever.

Cue Cards are designed to support all major camera manufacturers.

They work by mirroring the metadata structure stored in your camera's own JPG images — which is why brand-matched files work reliably.

A Fujifilm body might read a Nikon file today, but a firmware update down the line could break that compatibility without warning. That's why I won't sell you a paid product for a camera brand I haven't thoroughly tested — I'd rather you trust Cue completely.

For now, I've thoroughly verified Cue across Canon, Nikon, and Sony bodies:

Tested Cameras

Canon 80D, R5, R5 Mark II, R6 · Nikon Z6 II, Z8, Z9 · Sony a99 II, α7R V

Cue should work on most modern Canon, Nikon, and Sony bodies. I haven't been able to test every camera model — and realistically, I never will. I prioritize the bodies my customers actually use.

Not sure if your specific Canon, Nikon, or Sony body works? Download the free Generic ID Card for your brand first. If it displays on your camera, every paid Cue product for that brand will too.

Shooting Fujifilm, Panasonic, OM System, or another brand?

I hear you. I want to support your camera, but I also won't ship a paid product I haven't thoroughly tested. The free Generic ID Cards are also brand-specific — there's no Fuji or Panasonic version yet, and downloading a Nikon file to test on your Fuji body wouldn't tell you anything reliable.

If you'd like to help me expand the supported list, email hello@shootwithcue.com. Let's work together to test Cue on your camera and build a file that's properly tuned for your brand. The more demand I see for a specific brand, the faster it gets prioritized.

Special thanks to Ace Photo for letting me test across some of their inventory — including the Canon R5 Mark II and Sony α7R V verification.

List accurate as of May 4, 2026. Updated as new compatibility is confirmed.

The Generic ID Card

FREE FOR EVERY PHOTOGRAPHER

$0

A free card that helps a finder return your gear — using copyright info you've already embedded in your photos. Drop it on any SD card. If your camera ever gets lost, the finder sees clear instructions for identifying you through your existing EXIF data. No custom info, no purchase, just basic gear safety.

All I ask in return: tell me which camera you tested it on. That's how Cue gets better.

Haven’t set up the Copyright info in-camera yet? Don’t worry a guide is included in the free download!

All Cards are available in Light or Dark Mode. (Light mode pictured)

Custom Cue ID Card

Personally tag your memory cards, professionally

$19

Your name, phone, email, website — formatted into a card that loads onto your memory card and displays natively on your camera's LCD. If your gear gets lost, the finder sees your contact info first. No EXIF lookup required.

Same camera-native technology as the free card. Personalized for you. Delivered within 72 hours.

A note on availability at launch Custom Cue ID Cards launch soon, hand-authored by Nathan, one card at a time. To ensure every card meets full quality standards and works flawlessly across all supported cameras, availability at launch will be limited to 25 orders per batch. Once a batch reaches capacity, this product will pause until the current orders are delivered, then reopen for the next batch. Delivery within 5-7 business days from order. Your time matters, and rushing creative work doesn't serve anyone. Thank you for understanding — this approach helps make sure every photographer gets a card they're proud to keep on their card.

Custom Cue ID cards are designed individually for each customer — what goes on the card, how it's arranged, and how it looks are all up to you. If there's something specific you want included, just tell us when you order and we'll work it in.
